Stupid spectators got killed in 84 then Audi had to back out, you can see in the movie they flood the roads. Just insane.

There's a guy in Vancouver who owns an RS200. He brings it out to the all British car show at Van Dusen Gardens every year. Even though I've seen it about 3 times now I still have to change my shorts when I get home after seeing it.

As for cool video's of insane drivinig from back in the day, this one is my personal favorite. I don't know if they do this anymore but there used to be a Kart race on the Isle of Man course. Nuckin' Futs!

323 GTX is cool and all but the tranny needs to be replaced with the Mazdaspeed one if you're going to do any serious rally racing. If you CAN find one it'll be really really expensive. There's a shop in Oregon (I think? could be Washington.) called Corksport that can get them, plus the JDM valvetrain with the sodium filled valves. But ya, big $$$$$$$$$. For a similar but much cheeper ride you'd be better of with a Pulsar GTI-R. But then you're stuck with RHD.

The pulsar is just as heavy on maintenance anyway, just like any road going rally car. Just like the FQ400 it need's services after every 5000k.

I can't believe the Audi S1 had a 0-100 of 3.1 seconds. Still faster than all these shitty Italian super trash cars today (430 etc)
