I know I'll get neg rep'd for this. But I'm having difficulty putting my finger on what it is.
This season of top gear, didn't impress or pull me in like the others.
It's sort of gone the way of Lamborghini I guess. They've just lost some of that magic.
I will buy this season I'm sure, seeing as I have all 12 of the others.
But it won't be with the watched with the same enthusiasm I've watched the others with.

Actually, I kind of agree... I think part of it is that the earlier seasons felt kind of seat-of-the-pants, this one feels like they're all in a well-worn rut; pretty much all pretense of it being unscripted is gone. All of the parameters are set.

Still a great show, but becoming a little bit by-the-numbers.

I have just been getting into this show, started with a friend showing me some of the motorhome racing and amphibious toybotas on youtube... what are the best episodes? I want to get the torrent and put it on my TV instead of watching it on the computer

They have a very high standard, many episodes are good... here's a list of episodes so you can cross-reference

All the specials: Africa Special, USA Special, Polar Special, Vietnam Special

Challenges: Cheap Supercar challenge, Police car challenge, 24 hours of Silverstone
