Mont St. Anne World Cup this weekend - Quali Vid Added

Qualifying Vid added. Have a look at who put 7 seconds into the field.

Steve Peat returns to his early season form? Sam Hill finally rips one open? Maybe Gee or Greg or Mick...

What a great season this is with so many riders capable of standing on the top step.

A bunch of videos as well as the live webcast here...

I feel the same way about Palmer. That is just reality.
Too tough to predict a winner, but the top five ten should be the usual suspects

Sam Hill FTW.

Mick Hannah in second.

Palmer finishes 40th. People cancel their 951 orders.

Or palmer finishes 40th, and erupts into a raging ball of fire and burns down the pit area with heavy metal playing all along. Fans get stoked, 951 orders triple.

True, Palmer coming back is a good thing. He's done so much for mountain biking and his return this year has created a lot of hype for the companies he's associated with.

I hope he does well, but I think a 40th place finish is realistic. A top 20 finish would be amazing.

40th would be awesome for a guy who hasn't raced in 10 years. A 40 year old no less. Actually that would be off the charts.

Qualies are done. Sam smokes the entire field. Looks like practice has paid off.

Other note worthy comments are Greg Minnaar fails to crack the top 80 due to a flat tire, but automatically qualifies because he is in the top 20 overall. Shawn Palmer just squeaks in with 74th? or 78th. Can't remember. but his time was well over 5 minutes. Steve Smith qualifies 11th, about 14 seconds off Sam's pace.

Lol...yeah got a little ahead of myself there and didn't post the ladies' results. Some serious Canadian representation there!

Also, Kyle Marshall qualifies 74th, ahead of 76th Shawn Palmer. Pretty exciting for him as a Junior National Champ!

no no...I got it...he shows up to race in a skinsuit. UCI bans him...he pushes the marshalls out of the way and crashes in a blaze of glory...in the first corner...
