Wow I didn't expect controversy when I posted this. I think its AWESOME there are women specific riding clubs and clinics. The surfing crowd has been doing it for years.

Some of the mudbunnies are down right fast. I think some of them have bigger balls than most men.

Great article, and for the record the two Mudbunny rides I went on were two of the most laid-back and fun rides I've ever been on.

I get my back-up whenever somebody decides to stick their nose into a private gender-only club, and change it under "discrimination" laws.

IMO, this club has always been a good thing locally for the ladies. Anything that will encourage more girls to ride bikes is a good thing.

Great, much appreciated. Thanx Am I allowed to come along as well? I could imagine she'd be a bit intimidated since her English is not that good. And she wants to spend time with me Kinda like a second honeymoon.

we can make sure to have a couple of german speaking ladies on the ride ...see we don't discriminate against non-english speaking peeps either. My sister is coming to ride in July also, and she attended university in Karlsruhe.

Mudbunnies RULE!

I keep telling me wife that you Canucks are really nice and friendly and well-educated people and that she does not need to worry about not understanding you, that her English is not good etc - she is still scared. She just has to experience the feeling of your riding culture over there.
