you also can't check rear suspension linkages by moving the wheel back and forth on the ground.

I bought a bike that needs some work.

Take off the rear wheel and move the swing arm side to side to check for play.

I just looked up similar years on cl again, and I paid 400 to 1400 less than what others are asking now for the same year, so I've got some "extra" space on the credit line.

forgot to ask you why you didnt consider my friends kawi that is in mint condition and came with a shitload of spareparts for $2g's?

its setup to ride trails but can easily be returned to stock for track riding or whatever
it have several parts on it such as a oversized clarke fuel tank (its huge) for the long rides. ive also got the stock tank
a flywheel weight i think its either and 11 or 13 ounce (helps the bike from stalling when your riding slow in the rough stuff)i have the parts to take it off and return this to stock
fmf gnarly pipe and silencer and pipe gaurd
heavy duity moose skid plate
low gears suited for trail riding
the tires are gettin worn but are goot enough to last the rest of this season
Heavy duty tubes front and back
a moose easy clutch( makes the clutch pull a little easier)
i have two no toil air filters
a moose drain plug with a magnet built in to get all the metal shavings out of the tranny
i recently replaced the rear wheel bearings. i have replacements for the front as well but havnt put them in yet
i just replaced all of the bearings in the rear suspension linkage.
bark busters
i wash the bike regularly its very clean
chain gets oiled everyride
tranny oil is changed often
air filter is cleaned every second ride or so
it starts easily and runs great
i mix the gas 50 to 1

John, I really don't know why. I didn't want a KX MX bike, and knowing what I know now, I probably would have got your buddies.

You won't like the Gnarly up here as much as down there. We have plenty of slow speed stuff where the pipe is great but the bike loses way too much top end with it when you open the bike up. As some of you know we have some very fast sections where you are easily WOT in 5th gear. I might be doing a 3,4,5 WR450 gear swap in my YZ to open 'er up a little.

If you are riding the bush your bike will be getting trashed pretty fast, so get used to zip ties holding on your plastic. You might want to re-pack your pipe too Sven, guarantied its f*cked. There is a place that repairs rads for a good price, you might want to check into it.

I have the E-Line guard. So far so good. Apparently the newer ones that are made in China are junk. The one Showncock is talking about is much better.
