Ohh and if your pipe is just dented it's pretty easy to blow out the dent. I can help you with that or explain the process.

Dented quite a bit, Hairline Crack and Bent. I doubt its worth repairing.

my worry about the gnarly is that it makes the bike a little too wild, especially in terms of when the power comes on. Its a pretty zesty bike as it is.

I need to rejet anyway the, bike defiantly needs to be leaned out, im splooging quite a bit

carbs scare me though, I guess its time I learned

Just ride it a gear higher until you get used to it.

Hey Jarett,

I went from a stock pipe to a Gnarly on my KX250, and all I ride is trail. I thought it almost made the bike easier to ride to be honest...gives you more bottom end and you can lug the bike more, getting less wheel spin and better traction.

Not sure about losing top end, I rarely find myself riding the bike flat out for any length of time and wishing it had more. For trail, I am super stoked with the pipe.

Ya from the feedback on KTM talk the gnarly sounds like the way to go.

the fact that its a bit thicker for a hack like me, seals the deal.

My gnarly pipe is in the mail as we speak. I believe it will be christmas in early May for me.

I cringe just thinking about that backpack. Still can't believe you hauled that thing up Seymour. At least with the sled it was rather painless (which we should do more next season BTW).

Saw your Jeep at Vedder yesterday but we were so late I figured you went and did your own ride.

On a side note, I think riding dirt bike on Vedder is probably the best place to cure someone who is afraid of height. I could've sworn that we were on exposed sidehill singletrack about 90% of the time.
