The Man is holding us down again
So yesterday, theGiggler and I decided to do a little tour of seymour. On the way back from first pump, we ran into seymour employees checking for lift tickets at the first pump access point. Anyone that didn't have a lift ticket, was directed to go down the summer trail.

They said it was new policy, because some people climb up and then ride down the ski runs.


Well DUH!!!!



Isn't seymour a provincial park? Can they restrict access like that? Is it a good idea to send people sliding down a snowshoe trail? Are they on crack?

These are all questions that I would like to know the answer to.

they can stop you from entering the ski area. They can;t stop you from going to or exiting the park. In conclusion FOCM

first time I've heard of them doing this but seems like something they would be allowed to do.

Seymour seems to have tightened up on the passes this year. I heard the liftees bragging about how many people they had caught, usually they don't give a rat's ass.

Last year at our hill the hill manager took a picture of his dog ,put it on a pass,gave it out and told all the lifties whoever found it would win something ...suddenly every pass got checked

Last season I skied 10 days at seymour and bought a day pass once, I hope they are not anal about checking this season because freemour is so much fun to ski, for free!
