DirectBuy
Anyone know what the deal is with DirectBuy? Is it a scam or can you actually save a bunch of money using them?

We might be upgrading our kitchen appliances and buying a couple of smaller pieces of furniture in the near future and I'm trying to figure out how to get the best value for dollar.

I agree, go to Trail, but watch which monkey's you get. Usually had good luck with them, the last assholes I had though put about a dozen holes in our brand new walls and left a good 2 feet of extra dryer vent hose dangling when they were done, as well as not properly securing the drain hose for the washer. Good news is when you complain they rush over and fix it up right.

the only thing you really save money on is really high mark up items, say like versace furniture which you get for $30,000 instead of $50,000

my parents friends have a membership, parents were able to use their access # to view prices, then went and bought applicances from sears who matched direct buys prices.
