Penzer jumps...what happened??

Does anyone know what happened to the Penzer dirtjumps in Langley? They are all fenced off. I can only come to the conclusion that one of the little no-helmet wonders ate it while riding outside of his skills jurisdiction and his soccer-mom is mad at the city...?

I heard something about extremely advanced erosion. I think it was in the Advance but I don't remember.

its closed indefinately for maintenance for the lack of engineering of a proper drainage system and using 20% pactile soil instead of traditional jump construction grade of 80%.

But they went $300,000 over budget adding extra soil to prevent drainage issues...

dont get me started on the penzer bike park, they really screwed up, the could have made 100,000 dollars by having people paying to bring in top soil fro willowbee, rather then having to pay 300,000, idiots.
