THIS IS OUTRAGEOUS. why is he suspended with pay? he killed a guy while drunk and gets a holiday for it?

Apparently, according to CBC this morning, he surrendered his license and left the scene,without finding out if he killed someone or not, and his two kids were in the car.

So, you murder 2 people (one while drunk) and get a paid holiday?

Heard on the news this morning the delta police commision has reccomended "disciplinary action."

It's illegal to suspend without pay in the absence of a conviction.

don't twist words. bail is personal expense.

edit:

Just because you're charged, doesn't mean you did it, you get a benefit of the doubt, and is presumed innocent until proven guilty, therefore, work places can not take your pay away, because you MIGHT just get off of it.
