There are many in the BC cycling community who knew Dave or had seen
him riding in the Kranked videos. As a rider, he was at the forefront of
what is called “free riding” and helped an entire community of riders make
a quantum leap in ability.

great guy.... rode with him and Chris in Rossland years ago. One of the original BC nut bars that made mtb'ing the way it is today. He'll be missed.

me and my friend were street riding around rossland years ago when we were like 13 and asked him to huck the roof of the school. he did right away and it was probably one of my most stoked times on a bike
