Some Interbike photos for Roadies

Here are some shots of lots of TT bikes (I'm biased towards TT bikes right now). I'll try to get some more regular roadie stuff today.

Thanks Fergs. Would love to see some component stuff (inc. tires) as well.

Let us know if you get to try out the DA electronic shifting.

interesting how Norco dropped many models from their road series for '09

I just heard that Lance tried racing the cyclocross race at interbike and crashed?

Yeah, he stacked it but still finished 22nd.

Pretty respectable considering his schedule that day (press conference in the morning, cross-country flight). Not to mention 39/53 cranks.

Not a big surprise given the end of Symmetrics.

OK, I actually clicked on the link and thought this was neat:

Quote:
Ceepo claims the carbon frame is the one of the thinnest in production, at only 26mm in the thickest spot of the down tube -- in reckless violation of UCI regulations.

That is fricken hideous, although I read that it's more aero with the water bottle than without.

Old is new again. Shimano AX circa 1983.

AX sure was a nice looking gruppo. And only 20 years ahead of its time.

What I want to know is, if you're going to make a UCI-illegal TT bike frame like that Ceepo, why not put a fairing over the triangle formed by the seat tube, seatstays and chainstays? There has to be a fair amount of turbulence in that region. Leave a small-ish diagonal opening at the rear on the right side for the chain to pass through.
