Fried Egg Sandwiches
Just had one - I swear I have discovered the greatest food ever.

Ingredients:

one egg - free-range organic taste the best
cheddar cheese
tomato (again - organic - local FTW - I used an Abbotsford one today courtesy of former mom-in-law)
mayo
cheese scone from Thrifty's (pay attention - this is a key ingredient).
salt and pepper
butter

Fry the egg in butter on med-low heat - end up with it over easy

Slice the tomato and cheese and throw the scone in the toaster

When the egg is just about done - throw the tomato slices in.

Pull the scone out of the toaster - lather with mayo - then (in order) on the bottom of the scone place egg - cheese - tomato - salt and pepper to taste - top of scone. Press down to break yolk.

enjoy - I couldn't help but moan the entire time I was eating - the cheese scone is the real topper here - just the right mix of sweet and cheese - mmmmmm - I'm getting hungry again...

sounds oh so good (minus the cheese.....i no likey cheese). i also like fried ham in my fried egg sandwiches. after frying the egg i turn off the stove and put a couple of thin slices of ham on the pan and put the ham on the sandwich afterwards.

sounds ubber yummy. at my mom's old restaurant i used to eat the left over scones and put ham in it and it was good.

For a real treat, fry up some bacon first and then cook the egg in the leftover grease. That combination of bacon fat and egg yolk was solely responsible for turning me back into a mean eater for a short period back in the nineties....

must..... resist..... bacon......
