Exclamation Valley Trails Directions and Reccomendations
Hey!

I'm heading up to whistler tomorrow and I'm interested in hitting up Gargamel and for another ride, KMTM to CN. Can someone PM me some good details about how to get to gargamel, and if there are any trickyness to finding the start of KMTM and crossing the highway to CN? Anyother trail reccomendations, and directions, that may not be on the valley map that I got here: http://www.whistler.com/pdf/maps/whi...ike_trails.pdf


If helped, I promise some rep, and the potential to guide, or at least give very detailed information to any riders that wish to hit the south island for any style of riding (DH, FR, AM, XC). Thanks!

Yo, go over to fanatykco bike shop and ask how to get to gargamel. They know the trails very well and will also give you a map with written directions just for you. All I can say is that you're in for a trek getting up to gargamel in the heat! haha epic

If you have a map, you'd be very hard pressed to miss KMTM.

CN can be slightly harder to find due to a few road intersections in the area, but you'd probably still find it no problem. Turn into the Wedge parking area, cross the bridge, turn left, turn right, trail will be on your right.

I've done gargamel in heat like this a couple years back, the climb is very exposed and very hot, bring lots of water....

hey i'm heading up tonight and want to hit a river runs through it - i've never ridden any of the valley trails before. Is there a map available online (other than the general one in the first post) that shows how to get there, where to park etc.? Or can anyone tell me? Cheers!
