Pike 454 Knock
I've been running a Pike 454 U-turn for the last month or so. Anyhow the forks been great, awesome tunibility, great maxle system etc. However on the last ride out I notice the top 5mm of travel has a knock and some play in it. When riding I really notice the knocking when unweighting the front. Is this a known problem and can someone enlighten me to whether this is normal to a broken in Pike and/or what the issue is?

I have the same fork but i've not experienced the same issue, however last time I ripped mine apart I noticed that not much is holding the lowers to the stanctions, they are press fit together and snug by a bolt on the negative air valve (the threaded bit on the bottom of the left leg) make sure thats tight and hasn't backed off.
![]() EDIT! I re-read your post and it turns out I don't have the same fork, mine the 454 dual air with no u-turn, but I'll leave my post up incase it helps
