tasty hamburger recipes
Tried this hamburger recipe on the grill tonight - damn good burger. Share up your favorites.
http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/Chris-B...er/Detail.aspx INGREDIENTS * 1 pound ground beef * 2 cloves garlic, minced * 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil * 1 1/2 teaspoons salt * 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper * 1/2 teaspoon dried basil leaves * 4 hamburger buns, split DIRECTIONS 1. Preheat an outdoor grill for high heat. Mix together the ground beef, garlic, olive oil, salt, pepper, and basil. Divide into four balls, and flatten into patties. 2. Fry the patties for about 3 to 5 minutes on each side, or to desired doneness. The internal temperature should be at least 160 degrees F (70 degrees C). Remove from grill and place onto hamburger buns. Top with desired toppings and condiments.

no bread crumbs/egg to bind the meat into a patty?
you could use a meat thermometer RW,i sometimes use one when cooking pork roast or tenderloin . makes it ...idiot proof |

basil? Frying the burger? weird.
want a treat? dice some garlic and add s shit tonne of it to some room temp butter. then make your burgers with salt, pepper, whatever. But inside the middle of the burger put an peanut M&M sized amount (maybe a bit more) of the garlic butter. cook it hot. char the outside. simple, i know... but it is really good if done right. Yeah - forget the frying the burger (cut and paste) - Burgers are done on the grill.
The olive oil / garlic combo was most delicious. Gonna add in chunks of Feta cheese next time.
