How to maintain your Boxxer forks
Just stumbled across THIS neat little video about how to maintain your Boxxer fork. Might be helpful and interesting for quite a few people, so check it out!
While I'm at it, I'm going to overhaul my Boxxer World Cup for the first time by myself pretty soon, it's been sitting around for ages now. Will the overhaul essentialy work the same as a Boxxer Race overhaul? Or is there anything special that I need to pay attention to? |

Great video, i dunno if they make a speed lube kit for the boxxer like the totem but...10 hours is not a lot of riding time in my opinion. The rs line continues to be a great performer with more maintenance than other comprable forks.

That's a white grease, right? As a general rule white grease is lithium based, and not suitable. You're better off using Prep M, or Silkolene do one called RG12 I think. Typically if it's a sort of yellow/clear colour, you're good.
It's weird how that fork has no lubrication oil left in after so little riding. Mine always has quite a bit in there, even after a couple of months use. It gets pretty black on the spring side as I have a scratched stanchion, but at least it's still there. |

prep m and boxxer seals are not friends, i've found the prep m causes the seals to swell. Judy butter is recomended i believe.
