The second clip was definitely sick but... in my humble opinion that's not snowboarding.

Skateboarding on snow - that's where it was born from. I used to be into rails and city riding, but damn, one too many hard hits to the tailbone and ribs sent me to the powder. We had this one rail that had to be 60-70ft long, not steep, but you could just go on forever. Ahhh, the mamories.

IMO, all the jibbing, lip tricks, rail slides and one-footers are very much at the roots of snowboarding and its heavy skating influence.

The difference is that Mack Dawg actually makes it look good (as compared with Absinthe--stupid dorps to flat).

Some seriously sick stuff in the 2nd vid (Mack Dawg). Especially the mini-kickers onto rail slides. Crazy.
