life advice
we've probabaly all heard it before but it's worth mentioning again; make a solid effort to keep in touch with friends and people who've had an impact in your life, even if just thru the odd email or phone conversation.

i got an email a few months ago from a friend who i went to college with and also worked with for a short time in response to an ad for a job i'd posted. i let him know what we looking for and to get back to me. he replied saying it wouldn't work due to his circumstances but that i should give him a call and we could catch up over a beer. i never got back to him as i was just so busy btwn school and work.

i got another email from him today, but this time it was his wife saying that he had passed away after a tough fight with cancer.

no matter how busy you are make the effort to keep in touch, i sure wish i had.

sorry to hear man. i just heard from my friend that his good friend has only two months left. he will be leaving behind a wife and a 4 year old son.

i lost an aunt to cancer too who left behind a great husband and two young kids who needed her dearly. cancer sucks. i really am sorry to hear. don't be hard on yourself either. sometimes we just get dealt shitty cards. i'm sure he isn't blaming you either.

i just got told by a friend that another friend of mine ( matt prezel some of you may know him) broke his neck and back yesterday.
