looks sharp

as a rider of the same size, it's funny to see how a 29er looks 'normal'. nice bike!

I have also been hearing positive things about nine-speed drivetrains, but I'm not sure if I'm ready to make the switch from eight-speed. It works just fine.

What's the term 650 and 950 mean?
I know it's rim size but what's the reason behind it? If I'm making any sense lol

Actually 950 is the model of this bike (the way Rocky models are often 30, 50, 70 and 90). 650b is a wheel size that sits between 26 and 29. Some people refer to it as 27.5", which isn't entirely accurate either.

Here is a chart comparing actual rim sizes.
The ISO size is the diameter of the bead seat of the rim in mm.

Oh ok that explains it. Thanks cam.
Things have sure changed. I'm pretty interested to try out one of this bikes now and feel the difference of the ride.

Funny, so was mine. Guess it's hard to detect sarcasm on the interweb without a winky face or some other such shit.

Not sure on the bearings question. Will look and / or confirm.

Cam's right. To further expand on that, all Rocky 29er models start with a "9", followed by another two digits showing their ranking in the line-up. The higher the number, the fancier the ride.
