Canada Day in a part of the US owned mostly by the Japanese. I was a little confused and nowhere near as drunk as I should have been. We have a pontoon boat for the 4th of July though so I'm sure that'll be a shitshow.

Three years ago, I was in Ottawa for Canada Day, which was fantastic. It's a good party. I highly recommend everyone do it at least once, if for no other reason than to see how your tax dollars are spent.

I've also been told that ex-pats in London put on a pretty good Canada Day bash.

I was in London in 2004 - free beer at Canada House and then the street in front of The Maple Leaf Pub was shut down, and we all got sloshed. Also same street as the Canada Shop - Maiden Lane.

Looking around the I-net, it appears the ex-pats now take over all of Trafalgar Square for the day. Looks like fun!
