Fullface helmets for kids?

After watching my boy run head first off the trail one time too many, I'm willing to drop the coin on a FF helmet. Trouble is, nobody around here carries them.

Aside from fit, the weight is quite an issue. Short of me buying him a Remedy Cabon in XS, anyone have any recommendations for small heads?

The specific head I'm looking to protect is on the shoulders of a 4 year old (that looks 5 or 6).

Looking at some kid's motocross helmets, good idea?

I think the carbon is important...lighter the better, a heavy helmet can do more neck damage in a bail. I ended up getting a moto helmet for my little one but regret it due to being so dam heavy for her little neck.

Check out Danscomp.com or jrbicycles.com both are bmx sites where you can get bmx full face lids for little kids. My guy has a DOT helmet which he started wearing at age 4 (was a little heavy then). If you want to spend coin, check out Kali avatar 2 carbon. Kali's come in some really small sizes. Bell bellistics are also available for little kids at JH and Lynn Valley.
