It was unreal to watch. I honestly think that Elwood and Joliet would say he clearly is on a mission.

its actually kinda disppointing that Gwin won by so much. I mean, good for him and all, but its looking like he may run away with the series again which is less exciting than a season that comes down to the wire. Like 2010.

BRYCE- look at the overall standings. Only two races down but I think at least Minnaar is going to take him to the line. Plus there are a lot of boys who will really be fired up.

Or depressed. You could see it in Gee's face when Gwinn came across the line. He looked like bulldog chewing a wasp. I bet he'd rather be 10th and 3 down than 3rd and 8.

Thing is Gwinn's reset button is due a press. He's gone a long time without a proper stack and the speed he's going it'll be a season ender when he does.

here's another one: i looked at the results from race 1 and TOTALLY SAW THIS COMING. gwin's dominance last year seemed to be a product of his incredible training and racecraft. with the huge gap in time between rnd 1 and 2 of the WC this year, it made no sense that he'd be in top form for SA. i predict he lost there because he was still ramping up, peaked last weekend and will now dominate for the rest of the season

yawn. parity would definitely make things more entertaining - he's not even a compelling figure or super-stylish rider you can get all jazzed about
