Probably because it's easier to film with both guys in the shot. He also likes to go fast!

Camera angles are very well thought out. Metric is good riding music. Cliff drop.... peeps confusing aftertaste with Dales. heard the log ride is gone. in your vid. log ride still there . when did you film this?

April 17. Log ride on Aftertaste is very much there, as well as the two cliffs. Dale's log rides are also both there, but are a little sketchy now. Rideable, but very greasy on a wet day. Thanks for the props on the angles. I was supposed to film Tippie originally, so came prepared. Plus it helps when the trails are so beautiful and the riders are good. Digger and Jerry (plus volunteers) did some beautiful work on Dale's recently through the TAP program. I always like to spotlight the trail and use riders to bring them to life.

Lee commented after they rode the crack on Dale's that maybe it was a little too old school style, and I told him I was pleased as punch as it'll help show how technical it is because I couldn't capture the steepness. And Aftertaste is way worse...like the start of the trail through the two trees from the final scene. I tried to include the hiking up scene, also for some variation, but it just didn't fit in. Nice to have the locals backing it up, so people will just have to believe they were riding some pretty steep sh*t. On a personal note, it was a real pleasure to be out and hear about the old Hell of the North race which ran down Dale's. On XC bikes. I love the shore!
