It would be nice if we could return to that kind of good manners in North Van.

I walked it last night. Being one of the "lets keep the technar" crowd, I have to say that "so far so good" guys. It looks like the focus has been on golding the mainline to improve drainage, some superfluous berm-building (no harm done, will be fun), and the start of the reroute around the brake-booster-bridge. As long as that bridge remains an option, then I think we have a nice compromise in the works.

Nice to see the entrance unchanged as well. And, very nice fixup of the corner on the first bridge.

Of course the "gnar" really starts below all the work that's been done so far, so that will be the test of whether new school and old school can get along I guess. Last night was quite wet, and while there's some drainage to be improved, most of the existing wooden cross-drains are working surprisingly well. I had no idea there were so many of those, walking up the trail gives a much different view than riding down it.

I will say that I am encouraged by what I have seen so far. Excellent effort, thanks for the work.
