Harrison Hot Springs

Heading to Harrison for a conference this week and I'm considering bringing the bike. Are there any trail systems that start near the resort area?

Thanks

not really any riding in Harrison itself, unless some has been built since I grew up there. I lived there for 11 years when I was young and we used to make some little trails but nothing to speek of and I'm sure they're all gone.

There is one XC trail that is fairly long, it runs the entire length of the town north to south along the eastern edge hugging the mountain side. its not super easy to find, there is various spots you can enter it like at the end of liloet or echo ave. But its probably overgrown in many spots, its not used much. I went back and rode this trail in 2008 for nostalgia, used to ride it with honda 80cc dirtbikes and shitty mtn bikes. But many spots in the south part were overgrown like this https://picasaweb.google.com/1116240...32227716763074

There is a bit of easy flat trails up around Hicks lake.

20 years ago there used to be a bit of single track trails on Bear Mountain along highway 7 near Agassiz http://goo.gl/maps/RrDA we used to ride as kids.

But.. short answer is no
