C4 Learn to Race Clinics at BC Cups 2012

Hey guys bit of a shameless plug here, sorry Cam. Please dont send me to "Inside Line" w Norona, hmmm maybe I will just start posting C4 stuff in Dave's blog haha

Soooo.......



As many of you know I have been traveling the BC Cup personally since about 1996 off and on, and for the last 2-3 seasons pretty seriously with my new C4/Norco Race Team. As well as taking the guys to the events I have been running them thru weekly C4 Sessions for 6 months starting in mid-Jan to mid-June. On top of that I was fortunate enough to accompany the Canuck crew to a couple World Cups last year as well as headed to Quebec for a Canada Cup with the Team BC Junior Squad.

Needless to say this is all getting pretty cool, the only thing missing is a way to help me access riders/racers that are not in the Corridor and share the C4 Curriculum with them. I see a need, and lots of kids and families hitting the BC Cups (8 of them this year!).

My solution may be offering Learn to Race clinics at select BC Cup this season. By select I mean wherever there is interest. I aim to educate parents as well as racers, and of course with adults those two are combined into one human. The C4 way is pretty dialed and maybe we can help you or someone you know out this year?

My belief is that I can help to educate racers and families all over BC so that the racers will break less bones and parts, and the series can remain strong. After what the series has done for me over almost 20 years, its seems like the least I can do, as well as a great step for the new biz.

As you all know Chris and Claire (Kovarik Racing)are also running some that sound pretty cool. My plan is to offer something a bit cheaper (half?) that appeals to the newer racers, or long timers that need a touch up and some fresh ideas to work with. I think those guys are looking for the more seasoned racer looking for more speed. I can help those folks as well, but Hell maybe I'll take a lesson w Chris. I learned a lot from Shaums, and wouldn't have this program if it weren't for the tutelage of MMR.

There I gave up some props to the competition in return for my shameless plug Cam.

Let me know if you may or may not be interested in one of these.

The aim is to treat the attendees as I do my own racers, and athletes. Well maybe a bit nicer I hope lolz.

There will be more on this as we get closer. Race the Ranch will be priority one, and the beta launch of the program.

Thinking I can handle 10 per event and still do a killer job.

He could likely teach you the right time and place for those "siq skidz and wheeliez" so they actually improve your race times.

FYI, I realize that this may not appeal to you seasoned NSMB'ers. I would however appreciate it if you could point interested people that you may know in my direction.
