Any cheap online retailers

I need some new snowboard boots and bindings for next season and and want to save some money, maybe pick up some stuff on clearance. Are there any good online retailers for snow gear aside from Boardroom and The Source? Anyone ordered from the states before?

I've used dogfunk and been super impressed. The items you are asking for and the fact that it's end of season though means most local shops will be very negotiable on price. Comor matched dogfunks price on a bonfire jacket last year for me. So I got the price, saved shipping and supported a local shop.

The Boardroom has as good or better or better prices on most new and old stock than US online shops, at least that's what I found when I was trying to find a particular Forum boot last year. Also, trying on boots before buying is pretty much mandatory.

You're best to wait until the Whistler turkey sale in the Fall if you can make it, they practically give the stuff away up there.

I've ordered from evo.com, their clearance stuff can be a good deal. it's different than bikes though, the price disparity isn't the same. unless it's an awesome deal I wouldn't bother crossing the border.

Trying on the boots before I buy is a non issue because I'm wanting the same boots as I've run for the past couple seasons. Same size, same model..keeps it simple and I have no reason to change boots.

I'm looking for a set of Rome Targa bindings, Boardroom doesn't have any but The Source does, albeit "only" 30% off retail...I just wanted to see if I could do better by shopping around

It's horrible that you would even consider going online to spend your money on products that could easily be purchased locally for much more money! You should be ashamed that you're even considering not spending your money with local merchants who can offer you a smaller selection at inflated prices.

Just because you CAN get the exact gear you want for much less money doesn't mean that you should.....

......wait, hang on...... Ohhhhhh SNOWBOARD gear! Carry on then. Community vitriol is reserved only for the online bike retail industry.

I've tried evogear, backcountry, and dogfunk and all were good. I wound up buying my splitboard from a boardshop called Tactics and since they're out of Oregon there was no sales tax. Shipped it to point roberts too for even more of a deal.

Looks like ordering the boots and bindings I want from dogfunk will save me over $100 after shipping compared to buying from The Source or Boardroom. Were you guys hit with duty when you ordered?

Backcountry/Hucknroll/Dogfunk/Chainlove/etc. are good at shipping to Canada. If you get the standard UPS "tariff included" you should be good.

I've ordered plenty of stuff from all of the above and haven't had to pay anything extra.

Like reductimat said. Combined shipping I've never had any additional charges and I've spent more than I publicly care to admit from those U-tards
