Yea Exactaly. Dont park by the "lake" but follow the main road further down and turn left at simmons? and yada yada, a pretty easy hike from the locked gate on the 'south east side. Bear rocks.

A huge thanks go out to all the organizers and vollies. Without you guys there wouldn't be a race on Bear or anywhere else for that matter. Thanks for the fun years of racing.

I was pretty bummed I couldn't race this year but had a blast marshaling anyways. I had the most raucous one man cheering section in xc racing, but maybe that was the percocet. Thanks Gary and Steve for putting it on, thanks karla and Matt for stepping in to help, thanks to all the vollies who stood around in the pouring rain, and thanks to all the racers who came out to support the event.
