Change crown/stantions/steerer on 55 rc3 ti.

Has anyone here gone to Marzocchi in north van asking to swap their 1-1/8 steerer/crown to a tapered one? What would it cost me?

I know I could just buy a new headset or crown race adapter but there are reasons I'm looking at the steerer swap.

If memory serves, a new crown/ stan/ steer is about $220 + labour to install.

thanks, that's not too bad. close to the same as a new headset and cheaper than a new fork

and as i'm sure you already know....a quick call to Marz will give you a concrete answer.

not sure about the "close to the same as a new headset" comment though. You must run some pretty blingy headsets, lol.
