Many. Several of whom are actual friends if not acquaintances. I see music as an art though, and albeit both can be contested as "effective healthy 'outlets' for youth (or any demographic for that matter)", I see the hockey bit a tad unnerving.

Perhaps a quick explanation. I always got a kick out of the intermission interviews - ever since I was a kid - whenever I actually had the patience to watch a game (for the record, haven't watched TV since '96, but that's another story). So anyway, ya, intermission interviews, what a blast - you got this sweaty, sport drink guzzling, highly remunerated individual who's diatribe is always something along the lines of:

"well ya know, ya, da guys were workin da corners hard and you know, trying to get da puck in the net. We came out wanting to move fast, take control, get the puck in the net, and you know, be hard behind and in front of the net, work da defense and get the puck in the net....."

I always feel so much better (almost enlightened) KNOWING that an individual, pro player from this game really drove home the essence of the sport - just in case I was too fuckin' stupid not to know - that it was all about, putting the puck in the net.

Not to worry, I'm the minority here, big time... I can't stand hockey but that's not for me to put on anyone else. I get it, I get spectator sports mentality, I can see why people dig it and that's cool - do what you dig man. It's solid. No qualms with any of it if that's what yer into. Just sayin'....

Didnt Ozzy almost charge his Dr or Psych guy for prescribing the wrong medication that made him like that?
