hmm lots of bikes over the past 15 years of riding. Alot of these were bought as a frame and parts were swapped around and upgraded over time. In no particular order:
-1996 Norco Mocha (first real mountain bike) -late 90's Some kind of Nukeproof Hardtail -1999 VPS-1 (green machine) -2001 Kona Stuff -2001 Norco Shore -2002 Norco 4x4 -2000 Balfa BB7 -2003 Santa Cruz Bullit -2006 Banshee Chaparral -2008 Banshee Scythe -2007 Giant Reign 1 -2011 Santa Cruz Nomad (current bike, no plans to change soon) |

Sheesh !
No wonder tech/mech riding (skinnies) is dead on the west coast. Talk about needing slow speed skill with big consequences. Last edited by B.O.B; 01-26-2013 at 06:44 AM. |

I think this is my 21st year as an obsessive mountain biker. I shudder to think what I've spent on bikes, but I don't regret any of them.
92 Tech Nova, bought used and beat to get to work and had no idea what mountain biking was. One off road adventure and it was on. 93 Stumpjumper M2 (Broken) 94 Stumpjumper M2 94 S-works M2 Team (Stolen) 94 S-works FSR 97 GT STS Thermoplastic (Broke 2 of them like everyone else) 99 SC Bullit (Stolen) 99 SC Chameleon 00 SC Superlight 03 SC V10 03 SC Chameleon (Broken) 05 SC V10 (Broken) 06 SC V10 (Replacement) 06 SC Chameleon (Replacement) 06 SC Blur 4X 07 SC V10 07 SC Jackal (still have) 11 SC V10C (now my wife's) 11 SC NomadC (still have) 12 SC V10C.2 (still putting it together) The best ones that I no longer own were the Blur 4X and the Chameleon. |

Wow dude, you really got an early start.
Did you keep that old stumpjumper? Would be a collectors item now I'm sure. I was too busy skateboarding in the 80s to notice that MTB existed. |
