People won't stop riding their bikes all of a sudden, meaning that there will still be an audience for racing coverage. If anything, the trend is for more coverage with better channel availability and live online feeds readily available.

LA isn't the first to dope and he won't be the last. Nor will this be the last scandal to rock cycling.

And there is some major talent coming up from North America, it's pretty obvious if you follow the sport. In fact, I heard some guy from Victoria won the Giro last year.

The popularity of road cycling, in terms of participation, has skyrocketed since LA hit the scene. Its come a long way in the last decade-and-a-half (again, I'm saying participation in the general population). I don't think those people are going to stop riding their bikes because of the doping scandal (and if they do, they are fools IMHO).

I was a bit disappointed in the content of the CNN special, I thought there would be more new material. However, it was interesting to see the testimonies, and the direct statements from the witnesses and observe their demeanors. It's very impressive how unflinching, direct, and assertive Pants is in his statements. Definitely ne of the better liars I've ever seen. I wonder if he employs a sports hypnotist to assist him in believing his own stories. It seems that every answer he givesis delivered in an almost aggressive or challenging manner, with this icy near-angry stare, daring the questioner to prove that he is lying, so supremely confident that they don't have adequate proof to do so, so confident that his cancer-fighting celebrity-licking reputation is so much more valuable and important than those that accuse him.
Hamilton is an interesting one, he seems very nervous to be talking about the issue on camera. However, I think it is more stressful to talk honestly about all the dirty business and illegal activity than it is to simply stick to the same lie and pretend you are Mr. Clean. I think Hamilton, Andreu and a lot of those people have been put through hell, and are afraid of what may be coming to them for speaking up. I don't think Pants is afraid of anything though.

The CNN special was a re-broadcast of an Australian show that was finalized in mid-August.

I wonder if Lance's cancer doctor gave a statement under oath? I'm guessing he wouldn't have to because of the patient/doctor confidentiality?
