I'd be worried about looking to the side a little while passing a tree and hook myself.

I made a shorter one this year for a pinkbike contest, its fucking heavy, had to mount a counter weight on the back to keep the helmet from moving down, used an old Chromag softblock stem, its an awesome perspective, the head don't move and the body does, interesting to see what my face does on the way down, I stick out my tongue over jumps, probably not the best thing to do though...

The low lite quality looks much better, my hero over exposes in bright and does not work well at all in low light.

quality looks the same as the original HD hero as far as im concerned these cameras are finicky take amazing quality in the wide open but taking them in the trees is a different story.
