comp temp
ok after my motherboard fried from too much heat...i decided to make myself a little coolant system as well as add some cool little things to the frame of the comp.

now...as for temperature goes...is there a place i can go where i can see the tempurature of the computer?...i have XP pro btw

there are a lot of programs that can detect cpu/mobo temp.

but I use motherboard monitor

dont need to make anything special, but u need at least 4 fans.

however, i did make a water cool water block for my cpu, maybe i'll show u a pic later.

oh btw, you should clean ur heat sink once in a while, it gets dusty, makes a big difference.

for your athlon, 50 degrees C would be acceptable for idle. But most computer will be much higher than that (60C)with 1 fan.
1 fan is not enough

make yourself a liquid nitrogen cooled system...
if only it was easier to get liquid nitrogen though

that doesnt work, if you have a decent setup of fans, it's cooler with the side panal on, because it keeps the air flow better.
