This is what we did as it was around 28 degrees this past weekend. We climbed Happy, Nimby earlier this year and it would've been a grunt with a group of ten. First half of the trail is great, techy and steep but not crazy. Once you get to the east side of the mountain and start dropping huge elevation it gets really steep in sections (like just hold on steep). Tons of fun and the end section of trail makes it all the more fun. Put it on your list.

Chain-linked. Anyone riding it? What is it like this year.

Rode it last year, but, have seen zero trip reports on it this year.

Just being curious.

I'm guessing they are logging the upper section of the trail that's been flagged for a while now? Any word on how long it's closed for?

Not sure how long, a customer told me about it today. It sounded like they were working right off the road, down low.

Snow line was well below cell tower yesterday. Pretty much right at the big cliff band on JTR that you can see from Mosquito area. Can't see this morning due to low cloud but it's definitely colder than yesterday, and raining

The thing i love about pemby is you can bail out on the climb. If you get to top of let it go and its too snowy, ride stimulus or Overnight. I love the fact you arent totally committed to your destination in weather like this...

would rep for info, but must spread it around supposedly

Rode gravatrout today. Last half middle earth and the wood features snowed in. The rest is fuxking money right now. My pemby boner is totally raging right now.

Mint conditions on Resurectum today. Active logging on the FSR, but both the road and the trail are in fantastic shape.

rode overnight to meat grinder today. fuck me meatgrinder has more gnar than i remember. I would say i was feeling the fear more there than on Gravatrout last week. anywya both in great shape, mg was a little wet on the rocks, and a little bit slippery in places. close lying branches also seemed to keep drenching my hands as the trail is getting tight in places.
