Can a Fox Van 180 RC2 be lowered?

I'm pretty sure that I can lower them to 160 mm , but is 170 mm an option?

Also is this done with a spacer and the 160 mm spring? If so then wouldnt a 170 mm Talas spring make my 170 mm drop possible?

Please advise

170mm is possible using a different compression cartridge, but that's as low as it's going to go without custom (non-factory) mods.

If you really want to go lower, you could buy a new upper and switch to an air spring, but at that point you might be better off buying a new fork.
