bobsled second berm

hello bobsled TAP'ers - that is mainly Patrick at NSBS I believe.

Is there a reason why the second berm on bobsled is blown out? Is there some water flow that needs to be re-routed first that stops it from being filled in?

Happy to help with the work if you need a hand..

You're likely onto the reason. Probably the sudden heavy rains onto a dry dusty trail.

It is not a simple fix It is down to hard pan there is a major creek that runs in the middle of the berm. You cannont just dig down behind it and sump in this case, hence why its not fixed yet. I am have been waiting for the rains to continue work people can understand how dry it was we couldnt do much this summer. I am gonna do major overhaul this winter on the trail if you wanna help private msg me so I can add you to a list. Cheers.

Pat

last weekends rain actually flowed where water normally doesn't flow. Like the gravel washed all over Mt Seymour rd
