I'm not sure if I already posted it in this thread...but its possible that's how he got cancer the fits time. Several of his teammates on the us junior team became seriously ill because of cortisone shots administered by coach Chris Carmichael. Google "Greg Strock lawsuit".

It is pretty much accepted that is the source of his cancer. Load up the high and steroids, get cancer, start up a cancer "foundation" and become a multi-millionaire by playing up the cancer angle.

Colossal amounts of "where there's smoke there's fire" have been swirling around Armstrong for many years now. I actually prefer the earlier version aka 17 year old Junior vs the present version Lance. But then I'm a Tri Geek at heart and he was out to slay the Big 4 and Pigg Power.

It's far to easy to say Lemond did not. But that when one considers Joe Parkin's revelations in a Dog In A Hat about the 80's in cycling. One has to consider this as a having been done by Lemond. Now let us add in what I have learned from a local former Euro racer of that era that it was part of the job. Now let us look at Mr Lemond's behaviour and how much time/effort he put into going after Lance. Usually when someone puts that much energy into something like that it's to hide what they don't want the rest of us to know. Like a politician railing against homosexuality or Abortion.. then discover later on they are guilty of the exact same thing.

But the reality is that no matter what measures are taken road cycling specifically racing will have an image problem. The UCI and doping are just part of it.

Most of that was great to listen to. Hamilton talks much more in depth about the doping than he has on other news programs.
