Bringing out the big bike eh?? I must have gone up right after you, looked like your tire tracks on Giant Killer. It was rapidly melting by noon.

my lady dropped us off around noonish and we hiked up and rode Tsuga , 1st time on that section in over 10yrs , there,s a 8"to 10" dia tree across the trails within a couple hundred ft of the clearcut ,from there it,s clear and fun , cam out by the end of Caution and Johns , hiked back up to ride Caution , it had some windfalls that a couple guys rode around just after the chute onto the lower drops , my son and i cleared those out and hiked back up for B-line which is clear apart from the large tree just at the clearcut and a windfall just a few feet before that , the clearcut is in very wet !!! mid calf deep in spots LOL so avoid it . Hoots was clear apart from some branches a bar height just before you enter the bush , we snapped the tips back to clear the path and rode that and then up to Bloggy and then finished with Shotgun and a long hiked back to the house , great day was very glad to have gotten out ,and the parking lot was the fullest i have every seen it since i started riding a few months back , lots of Demo,s they seem to be the design of choice these days .

Sunday was an incredible day to ride!!! Mandatory, Upper Toad, Giant Killer, Bloggy and Shotgun all perfect! The only water issues were in the main spots where there is always water. Was glad to see that after so much dry weather beforehand. Gonna fix that one spot on Mandatory pretty soon and another thank you to the guys hiking up Shotgun with tools! Sorry for blasting past you guys. You were camouflaged in your dark clothes haha!

I've placed a whole bunch of logs and rocks to block this braid but they have been removed on me once already. Yesterday I placed double the amount. If you notice this braid open again please block it. If this continues I will build something permanent.

and ya best conditions i have seen at the woodlot have been this past weekend did a quick burn on sunday , on the hill by 9ish and off by 11ish looked like we where the 1st ones down GK , HOOTS , BLOGGY & SHOTGUN yesterday as well , no at many riders when compared to last sunday when we finished the lot was over full with cars and trucks . as someone who rides with a dog i sure wish those who walk their dogs would have respect for the others with dogs , my dog has a collar and i grab him when we come up on others with dogs , nothing like a couple of dogs charging down to check out our dog as others are too lazy to control or contain their dog . |

Rode Yesterday....good wet fun
However the last gap jump on Blood donor is dead...needs dirt fill. I'm planning to head up with my shovel to fill/fix on Sunday. I put empty dirt pails on the woodwork just before the rolldown as well as some wood right in front of the gap jump so that know one tries to air it out...could be a world of hurt.

To clarify "Dead"
This jump in particcular has a horizontal wooden cross beam right across the lip, beneath this the dirt has caved away leaving a void and a possible endo situation.

Has work on Blood Donor stopped recently? I know there was quite a bit of work getting done (the bridge replaced above this jump was done very well!) but it seems like that was a while ago and nothing since?
