Nice job Dave! I'm actually going to pick up all my new Avy gear tomorrow, including the Tracker 2 unit. Thanks!

what's the general consensus, should we replace our tracker's with tracker 2's?
happy to pay for it if its significantly safer.

The tracker is an excellent beacon and the difference is the the tracker 2 is a 3 antenna beacon over the tracker which is a 2 antenna beacon, the tracker 2 is better closer to pinpoint with the 3 antenna beacon as well as faster, the tracker 2 also shuts off its arrows at 1.5 meter and closer so as not to confuse the user with an arrow going to the left and then to the right which the tracker will do, once your that close just focus on the number and find the lowest one is the way to use the tracker once a body length away. If your tracker two is 10 years old then upgrade but if it is 5 years old or newer, totally fine. One thing you can do is send it back to BCA to have it checked however they use a good crystal in it so it rarely strays off its frequency. Hope that helps. dave
