Don't get too excited about Creekside. Probably won't happen next year.
The article is "true" but the info, including my quote, is just inference from the author's point of view.

This is the quote that should have been highlighted from the article:
"Other plans include continuing to expand in the Garbanzo area, developing more trails in the Emerald Express area, adding more trails from the top of the gondola station to the Garbanzo zone and general maintenance of the trails." (bold is mine)

Short-term they need to improve trail connections from top of gondi to Garby, that would not be a 'major' announcement and I believe, is already in the works for next year.

I agree that Creekside, and I don't think that it would necessarily be pounded and bombed out in no time. I'm guessing they would build a couple really solid durable machine-built style trails, one blue and one black, that would just allow them to use Creekside base for alternate parking and traffic flows.

They are also sitting on a lot of vacant or below-market rent retail spaces that will only take off with summer population. They own the Creekside marketplace area and the vacant restaurant spaces below First Tracks, so it behooves them to start generating revenue from them and they need multi-season use to do so.

And those venues really only need the morning customers and end of day customers fueling up and chilling out. It wouldn't make a huge diff if people rode down much at all during the day. That's my guess.

i would be stoked to see some more green chair trails, i guess the problem is there isnt too many sections of trees that dont constantly criss cross ski runs...

it would be rad to have a downhill trail that leads to singing pass, but cuts a new trail 20 feet above singing pass with jumps the whole way down it. that would be dope.

I highlighted all of your quotes, don't worry. And no, I can't freakin' wait till next year.

Great work as always...
