Interesting piece. The contrast between the growth we depend on and the greenspace we also depend on. I'm hoping that materials engineering will invent something that will make wood obsolete. Long live the rainforest!

there are plenty of trees out there, killing a few million a year doesn't bother me, good for access indeed
