When you can host a Membership Party!!!

November 4th, Mission Springs Brewing in Mission will be hosting FVMBA's 1st Annual Membership Party. This will be open to members & non-members, and kids too.

Plan a morning ride on Bear, Red or Sumas and then come by for 2:30pm. Mission Springs has dedicated a new beer to FVMBA. We'll be tapping a fresh cask of TrailBlazer Pilzner at 3pm to celeberate.

Following some social time with free appies & beer, we will get the nessisary AGM election stuff sorted out.

If you feel inclined to support FVMBA and the Trail Builders in the Fraser Valley, FVMBA memberships will be sold on site



You will also be able to purchase a $2 raffle ticket for a chance to win a Divinci Wilson or a $3000 credit to Wentings Cycles. This draw will be prior to the start of FVMBA's Spring Series.

we used to do this when i was at pedal... if it goes like ours did, expect some hijinx, and newb board members waking up the next morning saying "wait, i volunteered to do what?"

Now that is how you hold an AGM. Supporting land managers, businesses, sponsors, trail builders, racers and members alike, all came out. A packed house. The free beer and appies from Mission Springs was much appreciated.

I handed out a number of new pulaxski's and spikes to our builders who asked .
Even handed over a alaskan Mill to the ozzy they call the marcus. Free beer ticket each member.
$3 a mug after,when the donated (trailblazer pilsner which fvmba gets 25cents a beer from) keg was dry.
The empty keg kept dispensing free beer when tilted, ah yes mtbikers thinking on their feet.
A night to remember.

Thanks lou, remember all you riders ,it's the fvmba members dues which are paying for all these supplies.
This year we bought 1200 lbs of spiral galvanized spikes ,same last year. We are starting to get cutting pants and safety gear for our builders, looking to put on chain saw courses and starting a TAP program.
Fvmba website ,look under quartermaster thread (thats me the qm) need something ask if we can do it we will. You need to be a member,show your commitment to us as we show it to our biking community. With all this rain a great way to get out and help guys like dean and the ozz and all of our other builders. Come out to abby indoor and say hi, it opens tonight.(bring your bike)
Remember more fvmba members,more money for our builders when they ask for supplies .
More members more credibility at the govt. meetings . If you have ideas come out and talk to me as I love a good conversation . We live in great times,at mtn bike central.
