Urban around Cambie Village
So I've been out of the game for a while, just getting back into it. I'm wodering if anyone knows of any fun things to play on around Cambie village. I made my way up to the old dirt jumps off Oak last night, but it looks like those have been gone for the better part of a decade.
Any jumps, drops, stairs, booters... anything at all? Well I guess there is City Hall, but the only real gapper there doesn't really have a run-in unless you ride through the building. Unless I'm just wrong about that? |

dirt jumps at Vanier before it rains, haven't been there this summer.
The industrial area between 2 and broadway and main and cambie might be worth a look. |

There's not much in that industrial area, I worked at 3rd and manitoba for years while I was still riding all the time. The dirt jumps are a great tip though, maybe I'll check em out tonight.
I have a horrible track record of hurting myself on DJ's, but I figure now that I'm old I'll stop being an idiot... I can hope right? |

There is a retarded stair gap here that I've always looked at but never hit.

By "urban" I take it you mean "hucking on a 40 pound bike?"
There's lots of BMX/street spots in that area, but it's not really the place for hucks. The alley between Main and Quebec down from broadway provides a bit of gravity shralp.

Too bad there isn't really anything in Vancouver to play around on like the InterRiver or Bby Mtn Skills area. That would be great to have something like that without having to drive all over.

Ride a bmx and the number of fun spots increases exponentially.
