big bikes sure are nice on rds for all the bumps, but it would be doable on a trail bike for sure, just could get sketchy.
khyber is little bike paradise.
edit: looks like flip beat me to it...

Rode Kashmir and Kush for the first time.
Super fun!

Watch out for the hornet's nest that is quite literally in the middle of the trail on Kashmir. It is in a log that is used to get up on one of the first optional on-the-ground logrides about half way down Kashmir.
I was stung about 5 or 6 times as I ran screaming through the woods beating them off of me!

The trail signs are the coolest signs I've seen yet.

rode it at the end of crankworx for the first time. Still lots of fun, though if you have been riding it for years im sure its beat up compared to what it used to be. I still loved it, though it wasnt really as gnar as everyone hyped it up to be.

Found a new trail off the Flank trail in West-side zone. The entrance is hidden and it connects to a Pura Vida eventually. Nice little loam shot!

Trails outside the park?

So the park is closed but I still want to ride my bike until the snow prevents me from doing it. Can anybody recommend any good DHish trails around Whistler?
I found this map - http://www.whistler.com/resources/pd...ike_trails.pdf - but it doesn't really speak to the type of terrain or even which way is uphill. Is there anything similar to the Shore? I miss riding Fromme...
Thanks!

Anything in Whistler has to be earned, if you are fine getting up the hill on your own, then there are lots of good trails to be had. If you miss Fromme, then go down to the city, it's only 1.5 hours away.

go buy a map at a local shop, it has contour lines and a bit of the money helps support worca. there's tonnes of info on this page too, if you go back through threads.

Oh I don't mind pushing up the hill, but since I ride a big bike, it's better if the trail is all downhill from there, I'm not really equipped to do technical uphill.
Since I don't drive, getting to Van is a bit problematic.
I'll definitely check out the shops for a map, thanks.
