Stolen 2011 Norco DH Race small
My buddy had his new to him 2011 Norco DH Race stolen from our employee lockup at the Chateau Whistler. They somehow got the padlock cut while it was surronded by a steel cover. You can barely fit your fist in this thing to get the lock off so no idea how they did it. Anyway the bike is fairly stock. Red boxxer RC. New Deore derailler. Fox van r. He only had it a week and today was going to be his first ride on it only to find it gone from our work. His was the only one taken as he had a simple cable lock. My Rotec is still there only because I have a beefy chain lock and I will be removing it tonight. Bike thieves suck big donkey balls. Hopefully the hotel will reimburse him as its supposed to be secure. They would do it for any of our guests if it happened to them.

they do but not directly on the cage, 2 bikes total were stolen, a cruiser and the Norco, they are working with RCMP but the bikes are probably gone. Rumor at the hotel is that they won't do anything for the employees either which is BS IMO.

^^^^ That would be one dumb thief who posts a phone number of Craigslist. Just give it to the cops. Still, a "perfect condition" 2011 Norco Team DH for $2500 sounds too good to be true.

that one I can't find on Craiglist but there is another but the tires are wrong, quite a few on the hill this weekend too, hard to pcik out the smalest one....

2011 Norco DH Race size small,red frame, stock, new rear deore derailleur, loose compression adjuster on red boxxer, no rebound knob, Fox Van R, worn Kenda Nevagals....hope that helps a bit...

I'd say the ad is at least a call....I've seen alot of mis-represented picutres in CL ads.!

DH Race and Team DH are the same frame, different specs. The Race has a red frame, MSRP is around $3000, the Team is the high-spec comes in black and retailed around $5000 in 2011. If the thing was stolen, the perp may not know that. Probably worth a phone call.
