Pick my new skiis for me

My beloved B3s finally packed it in at the end of last year. I need a new set of slats and need some recomendations. I loved the B3s but didnt dig the twin tips as my skin clips kept cracking the laminate.

SO
30% Inbound 70% backcountry/sidecountry every day ski. I already have specific slats for big deep days

97-105 waist
182-187 long
NOT twin tip

here is a big one - no rocker or early rise. I have early rise on my Megawatts and im not a big fan.

and Im a big guy and ski pretty aggressiveness so no wimpy noodles. will mount with freerides. want to be able to charge crud and chopped pow.

I like my goliaths so I was thinking of some movement sluffs if I they still come without an early rise tip.

Used but not abused also appeals to my Scottish heritage if anyone knows anyone selling something that fits the bill

I am 99% sure I am all out of Sluff's. I'll have a look for demo's but pretty sure they are all gone.

Not much else that I have that fits what you are looking for. The 180 Baggy is really close, but it's a twin.

im prepared to make a compromise on the twin tip if I must.

I dont get the love of the rocker these days as much as some do, seems like everything has some form of early rise.

interested in the lib techs as long as they dont have a million days on them.

hmmm, you're pretty much describing squad's, older nordica blower's, or kastle's
i'd bet that some rossi rc112's would change your mind about early rise tips, while nonchalantly kicking your ass

G3 Rapid Transits if you can find a pair for sale. Good luck with that, most of us rapid transit owner's wouldn't give them up unless we were dead. If we were dead and you took them, we would come back and haunt you...

I would 3rd the Mantra suggestion. I liked how they skied. Although, I think the 2013 model might be rockered.

the Megawatts are the only early rise ski I have owned but I did demo a pair of S7s which I liked a bit better.

in the chopped pow I like to be able to drive my skis into stuff on the early rise I just pick up speed and fly over the top. if that makes any sense.

+ I ski old school, with my skis together, not your typical form these days.

Early rise is nice for breaking trail though.

Super 7 seems to drive through chopped snow with a fat bastard on board. Heavy though compared to some other wide skis.

Cheers Ben

My Mantras are practically GS skis. Sure, 98mm underfoot but full camber and stiff. You really have to ski them to get them to work, unlike a lot of new school offerings.

For 2013 I've wussed out and will be on Bent Chetlers (I'm a lazy, sloppy skier).

Ive found the super fat skiis a little disappointing. mabey because I dont get enough pow to blow it all in 4 turns at 50MPH. fun but its over so quick. plus it needs to be super fluffy or your just floating on top 10 cms
