Thanks to the FVMBA for a great event! I think the format was pretty good. I heard a few people metion it was less AM and more XC. However, the Super D split is what some of us were looking forward....the race within a race. I don't think too may people were surprised at Ricky and Sandra putting the 'Smackdown' on all the segments, even when some of us were just wanting to hit the Super D hard. A lot of us blew a gasket 2/3 down Squid Line.....which made for the best SD course around here, hands down....

Thanks to all the racers who came out. If you didn't make it out, you truely missed an awsome race!

From the Mission Spring Brew Company beers for the Heavy Pedal catergory, to those gourmet bacon burgers cooked up by the guys from Avenue's and Doc's Auto body. Eveyone that came out had a great time. And the live timing was flawless and instant courtesy of Webscorer.

Gord Menzies went home with a new Thule hitch rack and Tamera Blythe and Derek Slykerman both won $80 gift certificates from Kintec.

The next big FVMBA series of winter indoor mtn biking 4X series is about to begin.
Indoor opens Nov 6 for practice ,with the first race tues Nov 14th.
Seven race series part of the BC Cup .
Champion series jerseys awarded at the finals on
Feb 19th.
Schedules ,details tba .
Get ready for the fun.
