The scene at the premiere was out of hand. I really enjoyed the movie - great shots, music, story not absolutely terrible. The only thing I was left wondering is... where were the trees?

It was pretty good. At least it had a coherent story/narrative, not just 4-second clips of guys doing sick stuff in random geographic locations. It also showed the very human frustrations of all riders who try to progress, even at the pro level.

I think Bearclaw pretty much constrained himself when he typed "Desert Mountains" into Google Earth during "the search" segment. Hence the dissing of the trees in the lower Andes in Argentina . Besides, its much harder to build trails from scratch, shoot footage (on the ground and from the air) and expect good weather over the course of a 2 week visit to a forest. The desert is a blank slate with great lighting.

finally a story behind a mtb movie. Great riding for sure but probably a lil over hyped imo. I don't think it will change the mtb scene.
I miss trees and loam.

They should release a 'get stoked' action edit with none of that documentary BS, 30 minutes, all action, no filler
